“Hospital of Hearts” was arguably Phaic Tan’s most loved soap opera.
This romantic medical drama set against the backdrop of a bloodless coup starred Bokchok Svirthil II as the handsome Doctor Lahbkot and evergreen diva Nohzjob Nipentukk as the seductive millionairess.
For his unforgettable portrayal of ruthless 3-star General Kpow, veteran actor Xunxong Phu was awarded the much-coveted Golden Satellite Dish (Phaic Tan’s most prestigious TV award) as well as a promotion to 4 stars (he was in fact a real general).
This compelling show went on to become one of the country’s longest-running series – beginning in March 1994 before finally being laid to rest in May of that year.
